How to Add a YubiKey

A YubiKey is the best security passkey to use. This is a small device you can carry on your keychain or leave plugged into your computer, and essentially it generates a special code that only it can create, adding an extra layer of security and making it much harder for hackers to access your accounts (even if they know your password). 

  1. Click on the ‘add passkey’ button in your security settings: 

  1. Name the device (e.g. Face ID, Pin, YubiKey etc.) and click ‘continue’.

  1. You’ll be asked where to save your passkey - select ‘security key’ and ‘next’.
  1. You’ll be asked to enter a pin. Please add one and click ‘OK’. You will be required to use this pin in the future so please choose one that you will remember.
  1. Select the ‘security key’ option and ‘next’. You should now be prompted to touch the security key. Make sure that it’s plugged into the USB port.

Your passkey should now appear in the ‘passkeys’ section:


Using your YubiKey to Log in

Here is a breakdown of what will appear on your screen when logging in with a YubiKey and what you should select:


Click ‘enter’
Enter your email and password, then click ‘sign in’
Select ‘authenticator device’
Select ‘security key’ then ‘next’
Touch your Yubikey

You should now be logged in to NoFrixion!

Using your YubiKey to Authorise a Payment

Here is a breakdown of what will appear on your screen when authorising the movement of funds:


Click on the authorise button
If you have multiple passkeys set up, select ‘use another device’
Select ‘security key’ and then ‘next’
Enter your PIN and click ‘OK’
Touch your YubiKey
