Understanding Your NoFrixion Account: BIC, Sort Code, and SWIFT Details

A NoFrixion payment account is a regulated payment account, similar to a traditional bank account, but specifically designed for managing payments and funds directly within the NoFrixion platform.

IBAN, BIC and Sort Code

When you open a NoFrixion EUR account, you are issued an Irish IBAN, along with the following identifiers:

BIC

NFXNIE22 or NFXNIE22XXX

Irish National Sort Code

91-00-01

These details allow your account to receive and send payments domestically and internationally.

SWIFT Code Information

A SWIFT code (also known as a SWIFT-BIC, BIC code, SWIFT ID, or ISO 9362 code) is a standard format of Bank Identifier Codes approved by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It is a unique identification code for both financial and non-financial institutions. You can view NoFrixion's information here.

The code is used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers. It can also be used to exchange other messages between banks. The SWIFT code is 8 or 11 characters long and made up of letters and numbers.
