System Administration: Emergency Actions

This allows a user with the can edit roles permission to pause all outgoing activity on a merchant account.

It is a last-resort safeguard designed to protect funds if there is suspicious behaviour or activity on the account.

What happens when a merchant is suspended:

• All logged-in users are instantly logged out.
• No one can log in again until the merchant is reactivated.
• No funds can leave the accounts during suspension.
• Any rules triggered during this time will not process payments.
• Accounts can still receive incoming funds while suspended.
• Scheduled payouts only need to be rescheduled if the payment date falls within the suspension period.
